CISDI Electric Technology Company has come in for praise from the Pangang Group after modernising the bar mill drive and flying shears control system at its Metal Products Company.

CISDI’s skills enabled the bar rolling line to ramp up within two days of the new drive and control system passing their hot tests.

Preparations had been made for testing the system before site commissioning.

Tests were made for the drive parameters’ setup standardisation, the flying shears’ positioning and multi-length cutting functions, the old programme’s transplant and optimisation and HMI functions.
